Project Overview

BlackHistory2021_400x300_teasers1_edited

Led by a team of accomplished Black women academics, this project will explore the motivations, challenges, and experiences of racially minoritized students in STEM as they consider or pursue entrepreneurship.

Our goal is to reach YOU and 999 other STEM undergraduate students to participate in a national survey that will help us understand these dynamics.

We want to understand the unique needs of minority students and provide tailored training, workshops, and coaching in entrepreneurship.

  • Our research indicates that minoritized STEM entrepreneurs are critical to bringing equity to their communities by creating businesses that hire other minoritized employees.

  • By participating, students can contribute to a movement that not only aims to diversify STEM but also empowers them to leverage their skills for entrepreneurial success.
