Dr. Aisha Austin
Dr. Aisha Austin is a distinguished educator, researcher, and arts integration specialist with extensive experience in instructional design, teacher training, and curriculum development. She is a Lead Course Instructor for the Mind, Brain, and Teaching program in the Johns Hopkins University School of Education’s International Teaching and Global Learning Program and also serves as an Instructor in the School of Education. Specializing in evidence-based teaching methodologies that enhance learning outcomes through neuroscience and social-emotional development, she provides educators with research-driven strategies to improve student engagement, critical thinking, and overall academic success.
Dr. Austin is an expert in learning theory and data-driven educational practices, with a strong foundation in both qualitative and quantitative research, as well as mixed-methods studies. Her research focuses on the transformative power of arts integration in education, demonstrating how creative learning experiences can enhance cognitive development, problem-solving abilities, and student motivation.
