Whitney Frierson

Whitney is a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology at Vanderbilt University. Whitney received her B.A. in Sociology and African and African American Studies from the University of Arkansas in 2016 and her M.A. in Sociology from Vanderbilt University’s Department of Sociology in 2021. Her research interests include race, gender, psychological well-being, and Black students in higher education.
